Internal Tooth White bleaching
This means that the color of a tooth is lightened by placing a Tooth White bleaching product within the tooth. Internal Tooth White bleaching can only be done on teeth that have been successfully root treated. This means that the veins and nerves within the tooth have been replaced with a rubber filling.
To bleach a tooth in this way, the dentist will drill a hole and put the Tooth White bleaching product into it ( if itis’s a front tooth, the hole will be on the back so you can’t see it ). The hole will be sealed with a temporary filling, leaving the bleach within the tooth. The process will not do any harm because the tooth has no nerve within it.
you’ll have to return to your dentist roughly a week later to have the temporary filling and bleach taken out. If you’re pleased with the new shade, your dentist will fill the hole with a tooth colored filling. Sometimes, the color doesn’t lighten enough, and the method needs to be repeated. Often, internal Tooth White bleaching must be combined with other whitening strategies to realize the specified effect.
